Play Dough Recipe

From time to time parents may be asked to make play dough for the classroom. This recipe is enough for the class.

Homemade Play Dough

Ingredients:

• 1 cup salt

• 2 cups flour

• 2 cups water, with food colour added in

• 2 Tbsp. cream of tartar*

• 1 Tbsp. oil

Directions:

Mix all ingredients together. Cook over medium heat for 3-5 minutes. Stir until gummy. Work well with your hands until soft. Cool completely. Store in a ziplock bag.

* Buy at Bulk Barn and it’s WAY cheaper. If you buy in little box at grocery stores it can be $$.
